The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will introduce one of the “greatest MCU characters of all time,” writer and director James Gunn said on Twitter.
Gunn made this comment in response to someone who asked if the upcoming holiday special would add a new character. Gunn not only confirmed that it would, but that this character would be part of the MCU, and that he has high hopes. “In my incredibly subjective and admittedly often odd opinion, we’ll be introducing one of the greatest MCU characters of all time,” Gunn said.
